Senior Playwright Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with exceptional expertise in Playwright to lead our test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will be a specialist in Playwright framework implementation with deep understanding of test automation principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust test automation frameworks using Playwright
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable automated test suites

• Implement advanced Playwright features like API testing, visual comparisons, and network interception
• Set up and maintain test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Debug and resolve complex test automation challenges
• Continuously improve test reliability, performance, and maintainability
• Write clear bug reports and maintain comprehensive test cases.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years focused on test automation
• Deep expertise in Playwright test automation framework
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Extensive experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM)
• Proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale test automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of testing principles and best practices
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar)
• Expert-level debugging and problem-solving skills
